NYFW Intern Application

Chrissy Walker Public Relations is seeking motivated, detail-oriented interns to assist backstage at a New York Fashion Week. This is a hands-on opportunity for students interested in fashion, public relations, events, and luxury branding to gain real-world experience during NYFW.

This internship is unpaid and offered in exchange for college credit only. Candidates must be able to receive academic credit through their institution.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with backstage coordination during the NYFW event

  • Support talent, designers, and PR team as needed

  • Help manage guest flow, call times, and backstage organization

  • Assist with run-of-show logistics and last-minute needs

  • Maintain a professional, calm presence in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled college student eligible for academic credit

  • Strong interest in fashion, PR, events, or communications

  • Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude

  • Must be available in NYC on February 12 for the full event call time
