MEET THE TEAM

Director of Communication & Strategy

Leonor Martins

With a foundation in public relations, media studies, and data analytics from The University of Texas at Austin, Leonor has built a career at the intersection of measurable strategy and the relationships that carry it. She began in luxury and travel, spending time in Hong Kong on the press team for a European automotive marque's Asia-market debut. There, she researched the outlets that mattered and then pitched journalists one by one on why the launch was worth their readers' attention. She spent the following seven years in enterprise data marketing, serving on client engagement teams for Fortune 500 telecommunications, media, and logistics brands, including a global loyalty platform for one of the world's largest logistics companies. For five of those years she mentored emerging marketers, several of whom went on to top graduate programs and brand-side roles.

Born in Portugal and raised in the United States, Leonor works in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Her approach begins with a single question — so what? — a filter for whether an idea genuinely serves what a client is trying to achieve right now. At Chrissy Walker Public Relations, she leads internal communications strategy and supports talent relationships, pitching, and brand coordination.

A Wilhelmina-represented model and former Rockette, Charlotte has walked for major fashion houses and been featured in Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Vogue, L'Officiel, Rolling Stone, Glamour, Marie Claire, Grazia, and OK! At CWPR, Charlotte leads a department focused on narrative development, digital footprint strategy, and creative production, helping emerging talent build the strategic identity needed to command their own voice in a fast-moving industry. Her approach centers on intentionality: equipping talent not just to be in the room, but to have the narrative strength to stay there.

Founder & CEO

Chrissy Walker

Born to two first-generation Jamaican immigrants and raised in Austin, Texas, Chrissy Walker is the Founder and CEO of Chrissy Walker Public Relations (CWPR), a boutique fashion and entertainment PR agency operating across New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and London. A Wharton economics graduate, she built her early career across Bloomingdale's, Gap Inc.'s Rotational Management Program, a Google Ventures-backed startup, and Adweek before launching CWPR in 2023 with a mission rooted in a frustration she couldn't shake: that minority talent was being kept out of luxury fashion spaces, and that the infrastructure to change it didn't exist. So she built it. In under three years, the agency has grown 12x in revenue with no outside funding, secured over 300 fashion week placements in a single year, and placed talent of all backgrounds at shows, events, and campaigns for Balmain, Valentino, Missoni, Dolce & Gabbana, Moncler, and many more. Chrissy has been named a PR Net Next Gen Honoree every year since the business launched. She splits her time between London, New York, and Miami.
