SHE/HER
Annahstasia Enuke is a Los Angeles–based Nigerian-American singer-songwriter, visual artist, and model celebrated for her dream-steeped folk-soul aesthetic. Her artistry reflects the richness of her mixed heritage, infusing themes of home, identity, nature, and femininity into both her music and visual work. She debuted with the independently released EP Sacred Bull in 2019, which led to opening for Lenny Kravitz on his European Raise Vibrations tour, and followed with Revival in 2023, Surface Tension in 2024, culminating in her critically acclaimed 2025 debut album Tether, which earned Pitchfork’s “Best New Music” nod for its lush, intimate folk-pop songwriting and resonant vocal presence. Her creative process is deeply intuitive: rarely writing lyrics down, she describes writing as channeling—imagining the spirits that inhabit her songs and giving voice to their essence in real time.
